AI GENERATED LOGOS

AI-generated images, especially those created on a mobile device, are typically made for 'screen viewing' and not for printing. They can be low quality, lack colour profile data and are often created with very bright, neon colours. Whilst these images look great on your screen and social media pages, they can sometimes produce unexpected colour shifts, pixellation and fuzzy print results.

Minimum requirements for best print results;

Vector Files: AI, EPS, SVG, PDF (CMYK or Adobe 1998)

High Res Raster Files: JPG, PNG (300DPI - Adobe 1998)

*Avoid hyper-bright colours as these colours cannot be printed accurately and can look flat and dull after printing.

We offer two different printing methods. For gloss printing, we use a heat-activated dye which 'stains' the material that it is being printed onto. This method offers vibrant colours and excellent ink adherence. UV printing lays down multiple layers of thick ink onto the substrate, which is then cured and hardened by UV light. This printing method allows for textured printing that can be built up like Braille. UV printing is a matt ink that can be printed onto glossy or matt substrates.

Cover plates can be attached to your vehicle using double-sided tape, adhesive velcro or using our screw holes or mounting clips. To avoid damaging your plate, ensure that no adhesive touches the printed side of your plate. Magnets are not a suitable option as aluminium has a weak magnetic attraction.

Our mounting clips are supplied with 3M VHB mounting tape for easy attachment of your cover plates. Simply peel the adhesive backing tape and stick the clips to the back of your cover plate. Your cover plates can then be easily clipped onto the top of the registration plate. Loosen the screws on your registration plate if you require more room.
